Elio Murat is a French digital illustrator living in Paris.

His illustrations, with their cinematic atmosphere, take us to the border between fiction and reality in colorful, dreamlike, and narrative universes.

He describes his creative universe: " My illustrations are conceived as still images from a film of which I am the screenwriter and director. The viewer finds themselves projected into a scene whose keys to understanding are provided by the many details that compose it. I design my collections as narrative series, in the style of Cluedo, while ensuring that each illustration in a collection can be appreciated independently of the others."

My creative universe is a dream of a faraway place, sublimated or fantasized. When I draw a scene, I look at it through the prism of a fantasized exoticism where memories and imagination inspired by my favorite artists intertwine. Ultimately, it's my passion to create stories that bring my collections to life .
